The project aims to replace the temporary Let Down Station, installed in 2015, with permanent pressure reduction facilities at the expansion area of GS. The “Modernización Refinería Talara” project involves the refurbishment and modernization of the Talara refinery located in Peru. The project seeks to achieve two key objectives: reducing sulfur content in diesel, gasoline, and LPG fuels to a maximum of 50 ppm and increasing the refinery’s crude processing capacity from 65,000 to 95,000 barrels per day (BPD), allowing for the processing of heavy crude and conversion of residual products into marketable ones.
