BAPCO Modernization Program

The Bapco Modernization Programme (BMP) is on track to become one of Bahrain’s most significant projects to date. Located on Bahrain’s Eastern coast, the project aims to expand the capacity of the existing Sitra oil refinery from 267,000 to 360,000 barrels per day (BPD). Additionally, it seeks to enhance energy efficiency, maximize the utilization of heavy crude oil components, diversify product offerings, and ensure compliance with environmental standards.

Quiluma and Maboqueiro

The project involves the development of the Quiluma and Maboqueiro non-associated gas fields through two offshore platforms, pipeline connections and an onshore gas treatment plant designed to feed the Angola LNG plant in Soyo. Beaumont 3000 MTPD Synloop Ammonia Plant

The Beaumont New Ammonia Project, located in Beaumont, Texas, USA, is a major lower-carbon ammonia facility with a production capacity of 3,000 metric tonnes per day (1.1 million tonnes per year). Owned and operated by Woodside, the project is designed to expand the supply of lower-carbon ammonia for applications including power generation, marine fuels, and industrial feedstock. A key milestone was achieved in December 2025 with the successful production of first ammonia during commissioning.
