Project CERES

The Ceres Urea Plant, located on the coast of Western Australia, is a large onshore facility for the production of ammonia and urea from natural gas. Once completed, it will be the world’s largest gas-based ammonia and urea production plant. It uses local natural gas to produce fertilizers, integrating ammonia production, urea production, granulation, auxiliary services, port infrastructure and water supply facilities. The plant will include production areas, storage facilities and administrative functions. A 3.2 km conveyor belt will connect the plant to the port for the transport and loading of urea intended for export. The facility is designed to contribute to the target of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Marjan Development Program — Tanajib Gas Plant (TGP)

The Marjan Development Program – Tanajib Gas Plant (TGP) is a project developed by Saudi Aramco in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The project is part of the wider Marjan Increment Program and involves the expansion of the Tanajib onshore facilities through a new gas treatment plant, NGL recovery and fractionation units, and compression systems. The project aims to support the production increase from the Marjan field, expand Aramco’s gas treatment capacity, and enhance the value of the country’s energy resources.

Scarabeo 5

The Scarabeo 5 is a semi-submersible offshore unit belonging to Saipem, originally designed as a 4th-generation drilling floater for exploration and production activities in harsh and subarctic environments. In 2023, Saipem was awarded a contract by Eni Congo to convert the unit into a Floating Production Unit — FPU for the Congo LNG Project. Once installed offshore the Republic of Congo, northwest of the Djeno Terminal, the unit will separate gas and liquids and compress the gas to feed a nearby FLNG unit.
