Duqm Refinery Project

Expected to possess a capacity of 230,000 barrels per day, the DUQM Refinery is an integrated project of national significance situated within the Special Economic Zone of Duqm (SEZAD). The 230,000 BPD Duqm Refinery stands as a crucial endeavor for the advancement of Duqm, the Al Wusta Governorate, and the broader Omani economy. With the goal of establishing one of the Middle East’s premier ports in the Duqm region, the Sultanate of Oman aims to capitalize on its strategic location along the Arabian Sea. Within this framework, this project serves as the primary driving force and facilitator for the subsequent development of a significant new commercial, residential, and touristic area in Oman.

Kaombo FPSO Project

An innovative ultra-deep-water offshore project, the Kaombo project in Block 32 aims to extract oil from six fields linked by 300km of pipelines to FPSO vessels. Operating at depths up to 1,950 meters, it utilizes advanced technology for its 658 million barrel reserves, with a production capacity of 230,000 b/d, making it Angola’s largest subsea well system. Through cutting-edge technology and engineering, it pushes the boundaries of traditional oil exploration, demonstrating Angola’s commitment to advancing its energy sector.

Abu Attifel and NC 125 Conventional Oil Field

Located onshore Libya, the Abu Attifel and NC 125 fields are active in conventional oil production. Their peak production occurred in 1994, having already recovered 92.14% of their total recoverable reserves. Economic projections indicate that oil extraction will continue until these fields reach their economic limit by 2046. Presently, these fields contribute approximately 5% to Libya’s daily oil output.
