Spina Group offers a wide range of measuring instruments. The company manufactures and supplies instrumentation valves and manifold, pots and siphons, fittings and adapters and industrial tubings.

The processes of chemical and petrochemical plants both onshore and offshore require the regulation of the values of physical and / or chemical parameters in order to maintain a correct efficiency of the plants themselves. Furthermore, the demands on instrumentation systems designed for offshore applications continue to grow.

Since the oil and gas sector seeks to exploit ever deeper and less accessible reservoirs, instrumentation systems must be able to operate at significantly higher pressures, particularly in subsea equipment used for projects with long life cycles. A wide range of accessories is available too.

Manifolds and Valves

Spina Group offers different types of pressure measuring instruments, including manifolds and valves suitable for static pressures, applications with liquids or for differential pressures, available for different types of installation and with different styles and designed to provide a safe and reliable method of measurement pressure and versatile towards installation within the process.

Compression Fittings

Spina Group offers a wide range of fittings, caps and reductions which ensure the absence of leaks (even in the presence of gas), good resistance to high tightening, easy assembly with the possibility of repeated assembly and disassembly.

Pots and Siphons

Spina Group offers a wide range of condensate separation barrels, air distribution and siphons, which are used for the treatment and distribution of the process fluid before it reaches the instrument.

The siphons are used on the steam measurement lines to prevent it from directly investing the instrument and also to guarantee good heat dissipation avoiding overheating of the pressure gauge.

Tubing

Spina Group offers various types of cable holders for explosion-proof electrical systems and UL type and flexible pipes necessary for the construction of suitable “electrical conduits” inside walls and floors so that the electrical cables are protected from impact, humidity and compressions.

Oil&Gas

Abu Attifel and NC 125 Conventional Oil Field

Located onshore Libya, the Abu Attifel and NC 125 fields are active in conventional oil production. Their peak production occurred in 1994, having already recovered 92.14% of their total recoverable reserves. Economic projections indicate that oil extraction will continue until these fields reach their economic limit by 2046. Presently, these fields contribute approximately 5% to Libya’s daily oil output.

CMA CGM SCRUBBER PROJECT

The project involves fitting scrubbers onto container ships totaling a capacity of 8.09 million TEU. This initiative aims to comply with a new regulation enforced by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) since January 1st, 2020, which mandates an 85% reduction in sulfur emissions from shipping companies. The goal is to mitigate the sector’s environmental impact and enhance air quality. Scrubbers offer an effective solution for controlling emissions from large vessels by filtering exhaust gases produced during fuel combustion, thereby reducing pollution.

Berri Oil Field Expansion

The Berri field, situated along the eastern coast of Saudi Arabia, is undergoing expansion through the Berri Increment Program (BIP) to increase its crude production capacity to 500,000 barrels per day (bpd). Initially discovered in 1964, the Berri field commenced crude oil production in 1970, with the Berri gas plant starting operations in 1977. Currently capable of producing 250,000 bpd of Arab Light crude, the field’s expansion program aims to double its crude production capacity through enhanced oil recovery techniques.
