Berri Oil Field Expansion

The Berri field, situated along the eastern coast of Saudi Arabia, is undergoing expansion through the Berri Increment Program (BIP) to increase its crude production capacity to 500,000 barrels per day (bpd). Initially discovered in 1964, the Berri field commenced crude oil production in 1970, with the Berri gas plant starting operations in 1977. Currently capable of producing 250,000 bpd of Arab Light crude, the field’s expansion program aims to double its crude production capacity through enhanced oil recovery techniques.

Baltic Pipe Project – Compressor Station in Everdrup

The project aimed at the installation of piping and equipment of the Everdup Process Plant gas compression station, part of the Baltic Pipe project in Denmark. The Baltic Pipe is a strategic infrastructure project that aims to create a new gas supply corridor in the European market. Operational since October 2022, the Baltic Pipe is 900km long for a total cost of 1.88 billion dollars: it connects the Norwegian gas transport system with Denmark and Poland via an underwater gas pipeline in the North Sea.

Moreover, it positions the country to become a significant player in liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports within the Mediterranean region. The project required the implementation of cutting-edge technological solutions to develop infrastructure that adhered to strict timelines, budgets, and quality standards, from the initial exploration phase to production commencement.
